FOUNDER
Sam Bove
Originally from Warren, Vermont, Sam Bove has dedicated his career to inspiring people to embrace the outdoors. After a decade of sailing and maintaining classic yachts around the world, Sam transitioned in 2012 to designing art installations and pedestrian infrastructure for renowned American music festivals, including Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Electric Forest. This journey—from the meticulous craftsmanship of maritime design to the creative challenges of large-scale, functional art—became the foundation for his expertise in residential design and construction.
‘Classic yachts embody a seamless harmony of form, function, and perfection. On the other hand, creating temporary public art demands balancing creativity, safety, and tight deadlines. Combining these skill sets is the cornerstone of our construction company’s success,’ Sam explains.
In 2020, he founded Peacock Design + Construction in Austin, Texas, a company specializing in designing and building bespoke outdoor living spaces for private clients. Today, Sam serves as Head of Sales and Operations at Peacock Industries LLC, continuing to channel his diverse experiences into creating spaces that connect people with the outdoors.
COFOUNDER
Emma Laskaris
Originally from Waitsfield, Vermont, Emma Laskaris is a fixer, a finder, and a creator of beauty. After earning her BA from Northeastern University, Emma spent over seven years working as an Executive Assistant, Creative Producer, and Interior Designer for A-list celebrities, honing her ability to balance precision with creativity.
At Peacock Design & Construction, Emma’s role spans the entire business. She collaborates closely with clients on nuanced design projects, helping them perfect their visions. She also oversees the operational and financial aspects of the company, ensuring seamless execution at every level.
